Smita Sharma, working as Global Program Manager with UST, a global digital solutions company. Based out of Bangalore, Smita leads the CSR, Sustainability, and volunteering engagement initiatives of the organization at the India and Global level (Including ASIA Pacific, UK- Europe, USA, and Australia) . Master’s in Food and Nutrition, studied CSR with Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, Smita Sharma has 15+ years of experience in the social development sector and worked at various platforms i.e. UNICEF, UNDP, State and National Government departments, NGOs, Corporates, and academic institutions. She is a certified professional in Sustainability reporting and Social Return on Investment. Her major areas of work are Program planning, execution, evaluation, partnership management, research, and strategic leadership. She has majorly worked in the domains of Health, Education, Livelihood and Environment-related programs. She received the ESG leader award 40 under 40 2021 by India CSR Network. Currently working with the 40+ NGO partners, she is participating as a panel member in the discussion on NGOs.

Balakumar Thangavelu, heads the multi-pronged efforts of Outreach, Cognizant’s Employee- Volunteering program for India. Bala is the key strategist for volunteering efforts of Cognizant Outreach which spans over 13 cities and 7 states in India, with a vision of improving everyday life. Bala also heads the Cognizant Foundation committee for Coimbatore, facilitating eligible proposals from NGOs with Cognizant Foundation and anchors the implementation of the project using CSR funds. Bala also leads the UN SDG integration initiative within Cognizant, Supply chain, and Human rights transformation for Cognizant as part of the Environment Social Governance (ESG) Program. Bala played a key role in program management, audit, and publishing of the first ESG Report of Cognizant.

Pratyush is a Sustainability & CSR professional with 25 years of experience with MNCs and International Agencies like CARE, Holcim, ACC, and L& T. Presently working with L& T Infotech as Head of Sustainability, ESG, and CSR. He has done a master"s in industrial Sociology and MBA from XIMB, Bhubaneswar. In 2019 Pratyush has received " the Scroll of Honour" award from his alumni XIM-Bhubaneswar. Pratyush has written hundreds of articles on Climate Change, CSR, and Philanthropy during the last two decades. He is a member of several national committees of the Institute of Company Secretaries in India, FICCI, CII, Bombay Chambers of Commerce, and Net Zero Coalition in INDIA. He is a visiting faculty to NITIE and XIM University. Pratyush is also a philanthropist and a member of LivingMyPromise.

Navdeep is a seasoned and agile professional with over 20 years of multi-sectoral and multi-dimensional experience in managing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainability portfolios in the Corporate Sector, Multilateral agencies, and Community based organizations.  In his current profile, he heads sustainability at Diageo India, a global leader in the beverage alcohol sector. Before this role, Navdeep was part of Tetra Pak as Head of Public Affairs South Asia and prior to that, he worked with UNIDO- Cluster Development project as National Expert on CSR for the SME sector.  He is a blend of practitioner and researcher with a quest to keep himself enriched with new concepts, trends & various models of CSR and Sustainability. He has rich and diverse experience in sustainability strategy, public policy, partnership development, and stakeholder management.

Nirbhay Lumde is a seasoned Sustainability and CSR professional with two decades of experience working with corporates, nonprofits, and governments in achieving Sustainable Development Goals including Corporate"s net-zero program. Nirbhay Lumde has won the SHRM HR Excellence Awards 2021 for Excellence in Community Impact and sponsored India"s first Tech4Good Report 2021, a compendium of case studies of corporates, not-for- profits and social enterprises. Among other achievements, Nirbhay also published a book titled, “CSR in India – A Practitioner’s Perspective” and is an alumnus of IIT Bombay.

Kanika Pal is an award-winning CSR and sustainability professional with over 17 years of experience, presently heading community investments and sustainability programmes for Unilever South Asia. Holding a master"s degree in CSR from Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand, she is currently pursuing advance management in public policy at Indian School of Business. A TEDx speaker, she quit the corporate sector from 2015–17 and founded Solutions for Clean and Healthy Environment or SoCHE Foundation, to influence behaviour change for a cleaner planet. Through her work, she has been exploring the inter-connectedness between conserving the environment, enhancing livelihoods and improving the health of communities. Awarded ‘Global Women in Leadership Award 2022’, ‘Asia’s Top Sustainability Superwomen 2020’, she is also the recipient of ‘Most Influential Sustainability Leader’ and ‘Wommenovator’ citations in 2018, among others. She is a LEAD Fellow, an alumnus of South Asia Leaders programme by Common Purpose, UK, a part of EY Women Business Leaders Network and AL Gore"s Climate Reality Leadership Corp. She is also a member of USAID"s SAWIE - South Asia Women in Energy and an advisory committee member of Global Institute of Sustainable Development. She has been a working group member with World Economic Forum and has contributed to the report on Unlocking Social Economy.
